I was wondering if anyone had been catching any fish at Geist. I am fishing in a tournament this weekend there and was wondering what I might want to target and with what. Any input would be much appreciated.

Hard Jerks are key this early but the window is closing fast

I was wondering the same thing! Fished the Early Bird on Saturday and the winners had 5 that went 21 pounds!!!!! And second place was 5 @ 17.8 pounds!!!!! Well we just flat out sucked, didnt even get a bite all day. And the snowflakes as big as tennis balls made it that much better!!!!! I heard they was caught on jerkbaits, but have no idea where. We fished the main lake near the islands and up in the pits between the bridges with jerkbaits and jigs. Id love to know a general area those Geist Masters were fishing, they sure got my respect!!!!!

Soft plastic jerkbaits, or hard. Just wondering. Cause I like fishing soft plastics but not hard. Anyway anyone else no anything.
