Anyone fish the tourneys this past weekend at Monroe? If so, do you know what kind of weights it took to win them? Also, if you dont' mind mentioning, do you know what type patterns were working? Thanks for any information.

Saturday there were 109 boats and only 36 weighed fish,15 lbs won it.Sunday there were 36 boaters,11 weighed fish,9 lbs won it.Not much of anything workin, water is still very high and temps are still low,49-55,didn't see 55 till late in the day sunday.High skies, post cold front, you didn't miss anything.
One word "TOUGH" Fished for 2 days and boated 2 keepers and 2 short fish. No pattern to it just keep throwing and hope something looks your way. With the warm weather this week it should improve alot over the next week. Water needs to warm up about 5 degrees to get them moving. When it does warm up it is going to be good though
That orginal bank pattern wasn't really a pattern at all huh rangerpro? I thought I could count on it too after my practice. It as if prefishing Monroe does more bad then good, you go in with a preconceived notion that backfire on you.
Actually "ide" the fish I caught were on the original bank. Not much to brag about but the 2 keepers were good enough to draw a decent check in the tournament. The front and high pressure just shut everything down. I wouldnt be afriad to go up there starting today and do that the rest of the week because chances are the fish will be back on. I am going to be back up there the next 2 weekends so we will see
It was tough... 7 pound striper was my only fish all day. Went from being all excited about having a big fish to pissed when I saw the silver next to the boat.
Slight correction. There are no striped bass in Monroe. Had to have been a hybrid.
