Hey Everyone....
We are about to have our third annual fishin.com get together this coming Saturday, May 13. Unfortunately, we have been thinking and posting with blinders on, and have only had the information on the KY board. Jim and I want to make sure the guys from IN, and from TN, know about the event and know that you are all welcome!!!
The get together is going to be at Barren River Lake in south central KY. Jim has rented a Pavillion, all of us coming are bringing eats, drinks, etc... to fill out a nice cook out.
We are also having a big fish tournament. The tournament launches out of the Pennisula ramp at 7 am central time, and concludes at 12 pm central time. The cost is $20 per person. It's every man for himself. We have a traveling trophy, a golden toliet seat, and Tony.. aka SilverRanger, has taken it upon himself to provide trophies..... I think for the first three places.
The main agenda of the get together is to just meet and put faces with names. The tournament came about as something extra. Seems you can't get a bunch of fishermen and women together without there being some type of competition! LOL If biggest fish story would count, I'm sure we could all do well!!!!
Anyway, I am sorry that we have failed to get the message on this board before now. But please, come over to the KY board for additional information, and we hope to see a bunch of you there.
Here's the URL to the KY board:

Also if you are interested, I would like to take some pictures of anglers with their fish, and collect one new lure and a small donation. There is a thread on the KY board about a young boy in LA, who had to have a bone marrow transplant from his sister because of illness. On top of that, he and his family lost everything last year in the hurricane. I would like to take the lures and pictures to send to the young man from fishin.com, and to take the monetary donation and buy an American Express gift check for the little sister. She, after all lost everything too, and went through a very painful surgery for her brother.
Thanks everyone.....
Danny
