Anyone fished Brookville during the past week? If so, what are the conditions? Is it clear again? Any white bass or stripers being taken?
Thanks.

I've been at the lake everyday since Sunday. Sunday the white bass were biting somewhat at the dam. No real sign of them since. I've caught a few walleye and large mouth off the dam. If the weather warms up the white bass should be bitting any time soon.
LAST EDITED ON May-12-06 AT 03:06PM (EST)[p]Went to B-ville Thurs from 10am to 6pm. Water level looks to be 2 ft over summer pool. The lower end below the Fairfield Causeway is clear but creeks or cuts with rain runoff are slightly stained to muddy. Surface water temps ranged from about 59 in AM to 62 by PM.
Above the causeway the water became more stained the further north you go and by the neutral zone it was very muddy and slightly warmer. Expect this water to be moving south and by weekend should put a litle more stain in the lower end.
Good bite all day in the on/off rain and cloud cover. Caught SM and LM on variety of baits from buzzers to jigs to jerk baits. With this continued cloudy/rainy weather forecast expect the SM bite to get better.
Smallies came from main lake and first secondary points in creeks, LM came from main lake and about halfway up the creeks.
Thanks, gents. With the rain throughout the weekend I did not get out but plan to this week once the rain stops. This information is helpful. Thanks again.
