Ohio River Flooding Yet?

I was told the Ohio was starting to get too "ruff" to fish, the water is rising and lots of "junk' is starting to move fast down stream. Did anyone fish the open this Saturday. "IF" you did,,,, was the side creeks too muddy to fish?, was the river moving too fast to moterboat to other creeks up or down river?

Don't want to rely on Coast Guard "river rescue" on Mother's Day

Not quite sure where on the Ohio River you are refering to. The Newburgh pool is up about 2 feet (16 and change). The same for the Meyers pool. The only problem with the river today was the howling wind and whitecaps. Haven't seen any flotsom at all. Most everyone in our tournament wound up in the creeks because the river was so rough. Wish some of the wind would go away. The water is clearing up nicely.

Looks like tomorrows trip is on, did the guys do any good in the creeks? Big bass was how much.
