WHAT'S UP WITH MONROE?

Anybody been to Monroe lately any bass on the slow side?

Had a tournament there yesterday, but only caught 1 dink. We fished the main lake. The slow side did produce the winning catch, but the fast side produced the Big Bass @ 4lbs.

A side note, if you go early, make sure you have your lights on your boat and make sure you know the OFFICIAL SUNRISE TIME. The CO's were out full force on Sunday giving tickets left and right. Also, make sure you have your fishing license and the appropriate life vests, flotation devices, etc.

My friend fished a tourney there Saturday. I think it was the USA Bassin circuit. Had first place with 16 pounds and change. He also had like 3rd place in the top 8 and qualified for the state touney, He said the lake is doing great this year.
