The weekly Wed night tournament will leave out of Dogtown ramp at 5:30 as usual. Last week we had 10 boats with 2 late arrivals that didn't get to fish. Come on out and join us. The river will be back down to about 15' and clearing. $25 per boat, 100% payback.......

Just curious here, but I've never really fished for bass on that pool of the Ohio.
Is there good bass fishing there? Or, is most of the fishing up in the creeks?
If the bass fishing is getting that good, maybe I'll retire back to Henderson and my family instead of KY Lake. LOL
Thanks Don,
Danny
Danny, I wouldn't sell the place at the lake. The upper end of the Meyers pool is not the greatest bass fishery that I have ever seen but it still a lot of fun to fish with these guys. Wed night the T was won with one fish. 3.45 largemouth. The guy would not say where he caught it but being a largemouth he probably did get it in a creek. We had 10 boats and he got first place and big bass. I think for ten boats there were only six or seven keepers caught. One problem was the river had dropped to pool really quickly. The river is on it's way back up and will crest at about 18 - 19 feet this coming Sunday and will again drop rapidly back to pool. We have a tournament out of the Yankeetown ramp on Little Pigeon Creek this Sat so that should help. Most people will probably fish the Newburgh pool. If anyone is interested in fishing with us we take off at 6am. If you have any questions feel free to call me at 812 568 5442. If my cell is shut off leave a message and I'll get back with you.
Thanks for the shout Danny, if you get up this way come and fish with us.
Don
