I went to Dogwood Sunday........GREAT Weather.......and the fishing was pretty dang good as well.

Caught over 40 bass.......Mostly on soft plastics, but also caught some on buzzbaits, and couple on spinnerbaits, and some on jigs.......

Had probably 10 keepers, but that MIGHT be a stretch, since I really didn't measure ANY fish.

One final note.........It looks like the creeks and skinny water off the main lake is beginning to turnover.......Not too sure, but it seems so...........

Was it cloudy? I was also fishing Sunday and didn't catch much until a cloud bank sat down and stayed. We picked up quite a few then. Also all on plastics, crankbaits not working.

Yes......it was cloudy......Caught LOTS of fish IN the WIND. Actually, after the front blew through, and the sun started to shine, the fishing was DONE. I don't believe we caught another fish after that.

As we were leaving, the clouds started in again, but we were DONE. We had to be back in Louisville by 5:00pm, so we cut the day short by leaving at 3:00pm.

Regarding crankbaits.......I really didn't throw any......

BTW, I'm headed to Patoka tomorrow (wednesday). Hope to TEAR the UP.
