Monroe Level

Anyone been to Monroe Lately. Wanted to go when it is at its lowest level. Saw that it was down 3.5 feet. Any idea when it is supposed to reach its lowest pool? I know that is somewhat weather dependent, but the corp has to have some idea as to when it will be at its lowest.

I was just there saturday and i'm going back this afternoon,caught a ton of bass in shallow water and hopefully can find em again today.That 3.5 feet down is from winter pool,not summer pool,its pretty low and you need to be careful,lotta junk out there that i've never seen before.I don't know what level the dnr says the lake is right now but its actually back up about 2 feet from where it was 2 weeks ago.You should head over now and look around especially with fish hittin like they are.Water temp in the backs of the coves was 70-71 on saturday and the fish were all the way up in the mud in around 8-12 inches of water.Lotta guys were throwin spinnerbaits and not catchin anything,they were fishin too deep,baby 1- and subwarts were the ticket,good luck if you go.

In the original press release they (the corps) said it would be down five feet by Halloween.

they lowered the level to fix a culbert at fairfax lots of things out of the water that never was if you take a boat be very careful
