    Brookville??

I am looking for help on learning the lake a little more and to get a report on how the fishing is going. i usually fish down at cumberland and sometimes dale hollow but since i live in NKY it is sometimes hard to get away down there. I have fished the lake at night a few times and have done well but no real big fish. The biggest ones are pushing 3 lbs. I would love to learn more about how to fish the lake for smallies and for stripers. I am a catch and release fisherman. I do not want to take the fish unless i catch a striper out of real deep water i release them too. I was thinking about going ths weekend and doing some fishing over at Brookville and a report of how the fishing is right now or maybe a good place to start trying would be much appreciated. I know a lot of people don't want to give out too much info on a post so if you could help me at all and don't want to put it on here you can email me at [email protected]. Any help would be great thank you.

Fish main lake points with a big spook right now. Look for shad or fish busting, pull up and fish the spook. You will catch fish! What part of No Ky are you from? I am from Alexandria. Check out some of Fishhead or Lov2fish posts on Brookville. They both know the lake very well.

Hey nice to meet you. Thanks for the advice, is that stripers or bass that you are talking about? i am up for either and i wouldn't look past crappie fishing. I live in Ft. Wright and fish brookville mainly because it is the best lake close to here. I used to fish cumberland at least once a month but have not been down to fish in a long time now. With gas the way it was and really still is it is just too expensive. Yea i have seen some of the posts they have had and i would like to hear from those guys. I have caught a bunch of fish out of brookville but no real big smallies. I had a 20 fish night once there this year and only fished one bank. The only problem was none were over 3lbs. I would like to learn how to fish offshore structure more because it would help me out a ton at dale hollow and cumberland. Well thanks for the post and if i can get out i will let you know how i do.
