BFL question

It's time to start thinking about next season so I'm a little confused about the BFL format. The rule says there are four qualifying tournaments and if you have fished all four you will be eligible for the wild card tournament. The schedule listed 5 tournaments with the 5th one being the 2 days super tournament. Do you have to fish the 5th one at all? Is it an optional money tournament only or does it counts toward the year end standing too? Thanks.

The super tournament is a points tournament also, but the entry fee is higher (for a boater it is $300 verses $200 for the first four tournaments). It is also worth more points than the first four tournaments (300 points for first verses 200). You must fish all 5 tournaments to be eligible to fish the wild card. The wild card tournament is only for those people who fish all 5 tournaments and do not finish in the top 40 in points. The top 40 qualify for the regional.

You can go to bfl.flwoutdoors.com and view last years results. It will tell you how many boats were in each event if you follow links to the Hoosier Division 2006 and look for results. On average, I would say around 125 boats/event. The attendance usually tapers off, with over 150 boats in the first two events, and less boats in each tournament after that.
