Moose, it's on the southside of Indy on Bluff rd. Denny is a great speaker and I love to hear him talk, but he doesn't fish Hoosier waters. Other than hearing Denny speak there is really nothing to do @ Ted's unless you want to drop 50K on a new rig. If you come to Ted's make sure to swing by our show and check out Charlie Hildreth for crappie and Greg Mangus for smallies. Heck we have a speaker for every species that swims :-)

Cut Denny a little slack. I won't be able to attend the open house and listen to him speak but I have listened to him speak before and he did a great job. I actually was fortunate enough to spend a day fishing with him years ago and he is 1st class. I would also like to listen to Greg Mangus speak about smallmouth and I 'm sure he too is a good speaker. I think the information Denny would have you could adapt to Indiana or you could ask him a specific question about our Indiana waters, same as Greg.

Shoot, I said I love to hear him speak. He is very informative and willing to talk to anyone. I would just rather hear a local guy talk about local water and the little tricks and tips useful for that water. Denny's is a general one size fits all type of seminar. I would still listen to him speak though, success speaks for itself :-)

Denny Brauer will be the featured speaker at Ted's Aqua Marine
annual "Open House & Fishing Clinic", Saturday,
January 13, 2007. Other speakers include Wes Thomas who will
open the seminar at 9:00 AM and talk about "Approaching
New Waters Productively". Terry McWilliams, will follow
at 9:45 addressing "Smallmouth Fishing in Indiana".
At 10:30 Billy McDonald will explain how to "Fish Shallow
Water Thoroughly" to put more fish in the boat. Denny
Brauer is scheduled to speak at approximately 12:00 noon.

There will also be free door prizes, Fishing Tackle Vendors,
and "Special Open House Prices" on all boats in
stock including Ranger, Alumacraft, Crestliner, SmokerCraft,
Rinker, Bayliner, Tahoe, Sunchaser & Northwood Pontoons,
and a great selection of used, late model Bass Boats and

Ted's Aqua Marine is located on the south side of Indpls at I-465 & Bluff Rd. Get off at exit 2B (East St.), turn right at the first stoplight (Thompson Rd.), go west 'til it ends at Bluff Rd. Turn right and Ted's is approximately 1/4 mile north on the left. Our property adjoins I-465 but there is no exit at Bluff Rd.

He lives in Missouri and was stuck in that ice storm. They got him on the phone to address the group for a bit but had other speakers instead. It was still a nice open house but would have been great if he had the opportunity to speak.
