I have been searching though the IDNR web site to try to figure out when the Hunting and Fishing License that were purchased last year 2006 will expire? I looked at my fishing license and it was good from April 2006 though sometime in March 2007.
I was just surprise that there was not more information on when these license actually expire. Maybe it was on the dnr web site and I missed it somehow.
I want to be ready to hunt and fish in 2007 and want to buy my new license now.
I have a 2006 fishing license but I now wish to do some hunting this winter Jan 2007 though Feb 2007.
Is there any information on the IDNR web site that says just how long a license last? when do the 2006 fishing license expire?
Right now I have a valid fishing license until March of 2007 sometime. But I want to buy a hunting and fishing license now so that I can hunt and fish all year.
I hate buying the fishing license right now since my old 2006 fishing license will be good for another 2 months at least. But I don't want to buy just a hunting license now and then a fishing license later in Mark or April.
Isn't it cheaper to get both hunting and fishing combined at the same time vs buying each one separately?
I'll just end up going online and get the combo in the next few days.
And I guess I'll have to start thinking about boat registration and the Lake Permit if I want to fish Patoka this year. I didn't buy my lake permit until late last year as I didn't fish Patoka much last year until the fall. This coming year I guess I am going to have to fish Patoka more often just to get my money's worth out of that $20 lake permit thing that we now have to have. Man Fish that I catch are worth about $299/ lb with all that we have to spend on fishing equipment and license fees and all the other necessities that we have to have to fish and hunt. It's not getting any cheaper! :(
