I checked the DNR website { http://www.in.gov/ai/appfiles/dnr-license/index.html } and you can get your combo H/F for 2007 for $25 . It will take effect 4/01/07 . So I guess all of our fishing licenses expire 3/31/07 . If you want to hunt now you have to get a 2006 hunting license , thats the way they have it set up . It seems that a combo license is the cheaper way to go and I plan on getting mine in March . I had to get a lake permit to fish my jon boat at Greene-Sullivan last summer and wasnt to happy about it . I have a bass boat and a jon boat so if I wanted to fish Patoka I either had to peel the permit off all the time or buy 2 of the stupid things , what a rip ! If you have a non power canoe or kayak you STILL have have to have a $7 lanch permit . I wonder if I showed up at Patoka with log and a paddle if they would charge me ?
