Motor was bought brand new with a new boat purchase in 2002. Was taken off early in 2005 for repair work (plastic handle crack - replaced) and never put back on the boat after service. Just swapped out head units with a second MKMaxx I had bought while the other was being replaced, so the bracket/mount is brand spanking new and the rest of the unit was serviced by a MK authorized service center and never used again...until Ray tried it last month. I'm just a weekend fisherman so it got the usual Indiana April-October bass fishing use.
