not trying to be a smart @$$ but better to much oil than not enough

My dad gave me this old Evinrude ski twin 33 hp outboard, and I can't figure what its oil to gas mixture is. Anyone know? I think it was made around 1968.

I may just try 50:1. I had a mercury that ran off that ratio of oil to gas.
I have a 1975 6hp Evinrude and it runs on a 50:1 ratio. I don't know if that helps you, but at least mine is close to the age of yours. Good luck!
all 2 strokes are 50:1 they didnt start making any 4 stroke marine motors until mid late 80's.
I have a 1977 70hp Evinrude OB and I use the 16oz bottle of Evinrude oil to 6 gallons of gas. That equals out to about 48:1 and go on and replace all the rubber hoses.
Best of luck,
