New to GA, looking for a worthwhile spot to fish.............

within a couple hours drive from Kennesaw.... mostly for Crappie, Panfish. I have a couple Kayaks that I use for fishing.

i catch all kinds of panfish and crappie at lake alatoona. the 2 best spots are on glade road. 1 is a little peninsula easily noted because its nearly solid gravel and the other one is a cove just done the road

Alatoona is a decent lake that has the fish that you are looking for. There is a boat ramp with some fishing areas called Kellog Creek that has a fair number of crappie around it in the spring months. The next good warming period should get them biting in that area. I have also done well close to the Victoria ramp. Do yourself a favor, and pick up a lake map at a bait store. That would help you find some places to fish, and it will give you an idea of what is close to you, etc.
