It is illegal to use a .22 rifle to hunt turkey? My cousin used one last year and he said, why hurt your arm and miss the turkey when you can shoot it with a little .22 and kill it dead with a lot less kick? If it's not illegal, that will be my gun of choice this year. I haven't looked into it, but my cousin says the ammo is cheaper for .22 as opposed to 12ga turkey magnums? Is this true?
