Deer Hunting??

I have been hunting 3 weekends in a row and have yet to see a good qualty buck. i think in my neck of the woods the deer arent rutting. i have seen up to 23 deer in one field and only a small 6 pointer with the does. whats up with the big bucks?

I never did see a good buck much less a trophy during the modern gun season. Maybe during the muzzleloader season...

I never saw a good shooter either, I think that now the shots are over with some good deer should be moving again. A buddy of my shot a decent 10pt. around Dec. 10th a few years ago, so theres always hope. I believe it will pick back up, Id say the rut is over but there is still some strange does running around yet to but humped. Hope someone gets a big one, I know Im due all the nice deer Ive let go.
