Rough River.....

Anyone have any information on the fishing down at Rough River? Going to take my dad down there this weekend and was looking for any info I can get. Not looking for specific spots, just water conditions as well as general information on what their hitting. Ill be sure to post a report once I return.

As I posted above, it was clear and up a foot Wed night. The areas we fished were up south fork around Panther creek and North fork,up and in tules creek to the water pipe. As we left at 12:30 am Thur it was raining hard and it rained so hard most of the way to Cosmodale we couldn`t drive over 40 mph. If it rained like that above the lake it`s probably up more by now. I was told Rough was muddy right now due to rains by a guy here at work, but this post states it was up and clear just a day or two ago. If it's not muddy, my wife and I would like to drive there and fish Saturday night. Is it still fairly clear?

Was told today it is muddy around Peter Creek. Lake has come up 3 feet this week.

PS. I was there last night, water was up a foot or so and clear. Caught two 4lb+ LM on cranks and one 2+ on worm. Only fish we caught from 8pm-12:30pm.

the fiddlers tournament is saturday nite too going out of state so you may want to go to another ramp.
