Would like to hear from any members past or new that have an opinion on the following.
Fish tournaments on Saturday or Sunday?
I'm working on the 2007 schedule this next week so any input would be appreciated.
I'm looking at having 10 tournaments begining this October and the season will end in late June.
The ABA (American Bass Anglers) have made some big changes for the 2007 season. For more information go to the ABA website @
www.americanbassanglers.com for complete information.
Also if you have a favorite lake in the greater I-75 region, let me know.
Thank you,
George Salov

Hey lets see some winter C-land and winter and spring Dale and maybe some laurel in spring that would be nice. Lets go to places where we can catch fish that means no T-ville or G-Creek dont know much about the Ohio but I know not to go.
Ewww and maybe a Woodcreek nice...
shut up richard.
George One thing about starting your season in the Fall is that a lot of trails and major tournaments are having their classics. MOST (not all) of the fishermen that would fish your trail if it started in the spring are obligated to other fish offs.
As far as lakes .I can give my opinion only, based on 25 yrs of tournament experience.
If you start in Feb you may hit really bad weather.
March; Cumberland or Laurel
April; First of the month, Laurel, Barren or Cumberland
end of April; Cumberland,Dale Hollow,Laurel, of course just about any lake that time of year.
May; Herrington, Barren, Cumberland,Dale Hollow
Don't fish daytime June,July, or August.
END of Sept!! CUMBERLAND or Herrington
Oct; Cumberland,Barren, or Herrington.
Nov; Barren,Herrington,Cumberland ,If you come to cumberland avoid the first two weekends and Thanksgiving weekend. Big tournaments on those always.
Hope this helps
And yes I vote to fish Saturdays
I've never fished the ABA, but I'm looking for a Saturday tournament trail to fish in '07. So, I vote for Saturday tournaments...

All in response to buzzking sounds like someone is mad about losing...
Saturdays are good for me 2.
and what exactly did I lose richard? ;)

I don't think you have to register them unless they are 75 boats or more. There are several weekly events that have about 25-30 boats and they are not required to register.
ahhh rex, its a line from the movie Tommy Boy, its a little joke I have with richard, lighten up a little bit, has senility set in down there in richmond? LMAO
