As promised, here is a report from Rough River Lake...

Water was up about 3 feet or so but had a great color to it, a nice deep green, some mud in the back on the creeks. Surface temps fell in the 86-87 deg. range on main lake and cuts. Cought numerous bass in the 2.5 - 3 lb range on dark colored plastics on points and main lake rocks. While we threw various plastics most were taken on lizards and brush hogs. Most bass taken from main lake bends in flooded rock.
Expected the recent rains and frontal passage to turn them off but they were very aggressive untill the cloud cover disappeared and the sun rose higher. Good action in the early morning tapering through the day. Suspect that the predicted hot weather pattern will encourage the night bite... should be some good fishin.

Keep on chuckin'
