Question about Barren

Got a small club tourny this weekend (night) and am going as a boater for the first time. On my hotspot map there is an area I think looks nice but I can not see what structure there is (large rock, gravel, wood, etc) and do not want to lock myself into an area overnight that is not what I am really looking for. The area is the west side of Bailey's Point just around from the ramp across from what is called Hogback on my map. Does anyone know this area and what I will end up seeing when I get there? Also, with the lake up to summer pool level, can you get around the west side of the islands coming from the state ramp or do you have to travel all the way around the east side like we have had to do in the early spring. Any dangers I should watch out for?
I am 2 hours + away from the lake and could use the help.

i believe the area you are referring to is the shore line to the campground it has some big rock from the point a little ways down shore then turns to gravel and sand for a pretty good ways there very little structure as far as stumps and such. i have never done very well there seen several striper fishing there before.there is no problem going around the island just stay off the island shore a little.
