Creek Report.

We hit a creek today and caught about 40-45 before the dark clouds sent us home. The flow was fine. We had unbelievably clear water considering the rain we got last night.
The fish are in current close to deep covered pockets.

The crank bite was a little slow We tested some more of Apb's cranks. WE caught the majority of the fish on them. I caught some fish on a hare-jig. I saw we left about the time the bite was coming on.

I did a big backbuster in some bubble-rippin'-stinkin-puke mud today. Even scooped in down my drawers. Tried to get in the water and sunk up to my knee with my weight going the opposite way.

Had to shed my camera and wallet. Then wash all the mud off. I friggin stunk......Came home and didn't know I had the mud on my like that. Got it all over the house....

Billy, I was gonna call you this weekend but i lost your phone number. Called ole Jim Dicken but he didn't have it either. I can't seem to e-mail you, it always gets kicked back. We were suppose to go to the lake but all the storms curbed our plans, it was wild at my house Friday till 10p.m. or so. Any way I've got your number now and I'll be in touch, sounds like you wacked'em again. Oh yea ain't nothing in the world smells like that ole creek goop mud, I'm sure Mrs. Shadrap was lovin you for all that tracked in mud LOL. I've got Andrew's phone number now to.
