Guist Creek fishing

Has anyone been back to Guist? Making plans to go Tuesday early morning? Any advice...I am taking my dad there for the 1st time...I would like see him catch some fish. Thanks

Went last saturday 7/29, Had best day in three years there.
Caught 12 (8 keepers) 1- 5.5 2- about 4.0 & 1 about 3.5. rest were about 12". All were tight to wood up the creek. The bait of choice was a shaky head jig with green pumkin floating worm. Good luck
