Mossyback Rods

Has anyone tried the new G-Loomis mossyback rods. I bought one and love it. I have 3 GLXs and other than a little weight difference I don't notice much difference in the feel of the rod. Has anyone else tried these rods yet?

What are they coming out with this rod for? Is it replacing the GLX or IMX? What about the cost? Just curious...

From what I heard they are a better material then the IMX and seem to have a better price. They do not have the break-away guides like the GLX but the rods themselves look like in color to the GLX. I bought a 7'1" Heavy and it was only 225. The IMX was 235 I belive.

The Mossyback Series is lighter and a little more sensitive than the IMX series. Yet it has the strength and durability of a GL3. With the price of the IMX, I've wanted to see one but heard they were hard to get ahold of.

Hey SuperSprint, a friend of mine bought one. Overall, I would agree with the above comments on sensitivity and quality, plus where it fits within the Loomis Brand. Not as good as a GLX but had a nice action to it.
