    Great story,

But I got the white man's disease, so I have to use a gatorade bottle so I don't dribble all over my boat....lol Plus I can at least pour the liquid out in the port-a-potty's when I get back to the ramp when done fishin...

RE: The rest of the story

This all started when fishing with Rangerman on a 12 hour tourament (8pm -8am) we were at Barren River at about 7am the next morning, I really had to take a leak and after pulling up to a point I unzip get in mid stream and he comes out of the blue with "How yawl doing" needless to say I about rip it off getting it put away. He laughed so hard he had to sit down. What a partner!!!!

RE: The rest of the story

SuperSPrint007 AKA Lil Pooh, was fishing a tournament on Barren
so the weekend before i went with him and there was a good floating
bite (early May), he goes back in the tournament and has a hard time
he tells Rangerman the only thing he can get to bite his floating worm
are CARP. Guess the moral of the story is if lil pooh spent more time
on the water and less in Backwaters listening to the "docktalk" he
might be able to tell a bass from a carp !

    RE: Favorite fish story...

not sure if these qualifiy, but here it goes anyway. a few years back, i was fishing with my wife, my sister and her boyfriend out at the Army Depot in one of those long flat bottom john boats. it was early april, and i had just gotten out to do a little water spout out on the bank. upon getting back in, i misstepped, looked down and saw i was either going to put my big size 13 boots either on my fishing rods, or on my wife. i chose neither, did a nice pieroette (sp?) that would make dorothy hamill jealous and proceeded to do a perfect nestea plunge off the side of the boat. i landed completely horizontal in about 6 inches of VERY cold water. needless to say, i came out of that water like one of those asian carp and froze my hiney off all the way back to the truck.

in another misfortunate accident, my wife and i were nightfishing out at jacobson park several years ago along with a couple of my buddies. i had impaled what looked like a half dozen monster crawlers you get from wally world onto a treble hook. i leaned back and slung that gob of slime as hard as i could, but never saw it hit the water. it unfortunately smacked my wife in the back of her head and stuck in her hair. YUCK! she will never let me live that one down.

    RE: Favorite fish story...

If it came down to me stepping on my rods, my wife or falling in the lake in April ... I'd be sleeping on the couch for a few days, cause I'd step on the wife in a heartbeat.

    RE: Favorite fish story...

Back in the 80's we use to fish for trout at Wolf Creek below the dam at Cumberland. We would drift minnows and from time to time catch skipjack. Anyway, we had just started a drift when I set the hook on a fish. My cousin set the hook on a fish at the same time. Cool, a double! Well, as we reeled our fish closer to the surface our lines merged. One skipjack had taken both of our baits.

    RE: Favorite fish story...

I was fishing a tournament on lake Cumberland. It had been really foggy that morning and we held off on all of us leaving the marina until it let up. My partner and I had fished just outside the marina and worked our way back in and we fished a wall when he caught a nice sized LM. When he got it to the boat it had a popper in its mouth. We fished the rest of the day and came in for the weigh in. He mentioned the fish and lure and one of the guys in the club said it sounded like the one he lost that morning. I had my doughts at first but he said exactly what the bait was and the color. My partner gave it to him after I sadi I knew that it was the same kind that he always used.

    RE: Favorite fish story...

I figured it might be when your partner caught a 5.3 lb smallie to show you up and get big bass on Barren and then the next time you fished together you caught a 3.3 LM on Nolin to show him up...
