    RE: Cumberland stripers

Good report from the same fisherman today two at 40 inches today on the umbrella rig with the gambler spinner rig on the umbrella rig. I have tried the spinner jig rig casting in the winter with a willow blade for only a short time with limited results but they are using a colorado blade on the the short arm of the jig on the umbrella rig. which I have not tried in the winter. as well they are using chartreuse jigs and blue blades. I have never used blue blades for walleye but those of us that like to fish for walleye might consider it.

    RE: Cumberland stripers

I've been hearing umbrella rigs are hot down there this year. I haven't tried it yet. I did catch at 12lb 32 inch striper over the weekend trolling with shinners. It's the largest one I have caught since I started fishing for stipers 2 years ago.
