Replaced a defective pump for my live well and for some reason as soon as i put power to it, it starts running. The switch doesnt control it what so ever. I swapped the switch with the other pump and the switch worked fine.

There are 2 sides to the switch, auto and manual. could the timer for auto be stuck or is there a relay for the timer that could be bad.

This is on a Fisher boat.

Any help is appriciated.
