ESPN Outdoors Bassmaster Series on Barren

does anyone have anymore info on this than what is shown on dept of fish and wildlife site? all it says is its on barren on april 30th with 200 boats and is open. just wondering if there were going to be big names there or if this was going to be a fed. tourney?

No, this is the Bassmaster Weekend series--not the big pro's. Anybody that's a BASS member can fish in this tourney. It's one of 4 in the "Bluegrass" Region.

Go to the Bassmaster Web page under tournaments and go to Bassmaster Series. It's a good series same as the Bfl but is just getting started this will be the second year. I just made it back from the National Champ. on East Toho and had a blast. The top boater wins 100,000 and a spot in The bassmaster classic and the non boater gets 50,000.

Glad to hear you had fun. I fished 3 of the Tenn/KY div this past year and liked it except for the shared fish part--even though I was a boater. I am curious how many people are planning to fish it since now they actually moved into KY instead of Tenn and call it the KY/Tenn Div. That was kind of strange.

ok i appreciate it. i looked at the website and must have over looked it. i thought barren was a little to small to have a big tourney like that but thought i would ask anyway.
