Boat clear coat

Anyone have any experience putting clear coat on a fiberglass boat. I am planning to give it a shot soon. I am in the process of taking all the stuff off the old Stratos and was just hoping for some helpful hints.

if you cant find anyhelp on here go to this site http://bbcboards.zeroforum.com/,there are people on there that actually do stuff like that for a living and will tell ya what you need too do.just look for the board that says boat restoration

i have an 87 hydrasport dv175 needs gel on top deck and inside it is already stripped if you want to try on it first maybe we can work out something im not real worried how it looks so it would be a good guinea pig.
my cousin had a fellow spend 300 of his dollars at cliffords in louisville sprayed it on a ranger and it was sticky 3 months later,call them they seemed pretty helpful in telling him what they did wrong

Sounds good, I have the garage, compressor, paint gun, pretty much everything we would need. If you send me an e-mail [email protected] I'll get you my phone number and all and hopefully we can get together and give it a "Shot", I've also been doing a lot of research on this on the net, thanks to 90skeeter, and am starting to come up with what I think is a pretty good plan.
