I have been fishing all winter an still yet to give up because i have caught many fish. alot of them in the rivers. i have seen them on top when the temp is up around the 60 degree mark although i have yet to catch any crappie. I thought crappie were suppose to be in rivers this time of year. also pond fishin is never out of the qeustion because u can't burn them on a spinnerbait doesn't mean there not bitin. use a 3inch black or green worm. one split shot an thro it on the drop offs. if this is not workin ur fishin way to fast let in sink. if u want to have real fun take a light colored crappie tube jig. green is real good. depends on the deepness of the pon put it on a floater an let it bob up an down. nice fish love this slow movement. arount 4ft deep. fish in a pond will bite an once u catch on bam there is another around it. well good luck an on the lakes i have no clue i want to get out there. if anyone lives around lawrenceburg with a boat an is lookin for someone to ride along. for this is not a season to go alone its dangerous out there. i will go on the weekends an i know a little about crappie fishin. well good luck an keep fishing more u fish the better chance u goin to catch something. if u don't catch anything u can lay down at night know u went out there an gave it a shot
