Kincaid lake

I am new to this site and wanted to Hi to all of you. My name is Ryan and I only fish when I get a chance to do soo. I plan on fishing Kincaid lake in FeB and any info that you guys and Gals can share with me will be greatly aprreciated. What lures seem to work best ? What general areas are the fish located at during the month of Feb ? Thanks.

That time of year like buzzking said stick to the dam area. Also try around the marina, but I would use a small black and blue pig and jig combo. along with a white spinnerbait. If you go to a crank bait I would go with a shad colored bait. The main thing to do also is to keep your presentation in small lures. But thats what I would do this time of year. It can be a hard lake to figure out sometimes, good luck.

Also Kincaid has a boat size limit. I think its no boat larger than 18 feet is allowed on the water.

Thank you for the advice , EZGO...At this time of year , what is the preferred technique of fishing the Jig & Pig combo ? Do I want to shake it and bounce it off the bottom ?

There is no size limit on boats. 9.9 horsepower is the only limit.

I would stay in the dam area of the lake that time of year, it usually doesnt pick up there really good until march, but you probably pick up a few fish
