Herrington Today

Went to the dead sea (Herrington Lake) today. Got there about 2 pm. Got the first hit at 4:45 pm. Caught that fish it weighed 5.5 lbs. 5:15 my son got a hit with a clean jerk and a miss. Tried lots of stuff and both hits came on a jig. That 1 fish and the weather and being on the water made it a great trip. Talked to 3 other boats and their report wasnt as good as mine. Lots of shad up and moving just no fish chasing em. water temp 47 to 49 degrees.
