Hey Kyle and Dave, did we get duped?

Hey guys, did we get duped on the wind forecast? I was having difficulty finding a partner, and agreed to help my sister today. I didn't feel too baddly about the decision since the wind was supposed to blow hard all day. However, it really did not blow all that hard here. Now I know I am a few miles from the lake, so how 'bout it? Was the wind as bad as predicted yesterday?

Guess all is not lost, I did get some work around the house done too, but would have preferred to see if I could have put a fish or two in the boat.

The wind blew hard here today....it is calmed down now and not sure when it did but it was blowing hard around noon...I checked the local wx and they said it was 23 gusting over 30.

Dave's right, Danny. The wind blew like crazy here all day long.

Thanks guys, I feel better now. Isn't it amazing being about 60-80 miles away, and the wind wasn't all that bad, or so it seemed. We did have some gusts, but nothing like sustained at 23 miles per hour. I guess I can quit kicking myself in the backside for not fishing and doing family chores instead.
