Has this winter been cold enough for a decent shad kill?

If not do you think that would be good or bad? Seems to me that the lake has more shad area than water.

Without a good shad kill fish might bite more readily during the early season. Yet might not be as heavy a fish.

Will those rogues produce better offering a shad kill presense?
