I am not sure when the voting ends, but once it does, we will then need to open up a voting on when.
Also, after talking with Jim D., I'm going to try to help organize getting folks to bring grub.
Normally is is pot luck. The first year and possibly last year too, there was a fish fry. One of the regulars would bring striper meat and that was part of the food. Also Jim had some wild hog meat he brought, but has said he is out of that.
The tournament is really more of an after-thought. The whole idea is to get as many of us together as possible to add faces to our opinionated posts...LOL If I remember right, the cost to enter the tournament is usually very inexpensive, something like $15?? The tournament is always scheduled to end relatively early, around 1:00 Pm to 2:00 PM central time. This is to allow plenty of time for the cook out and eating... and those that know me realize the eating is very important to me.
I've got one of those "round" type charcoal grills, and maybe someone else can bring one too. We can get some hotdogs and some burger patties, and we should be able to pull this off pretty well.
One year I hurt my back, one year I got stuck out of town for work, but this year, there should not be any work in the way unless something changes soon. I really want to be there this year. If we can get a good enough turn out, then we can really start to consider putting together the three seperate locations for the future, and I'd still like to see a fishin.com circuit.
Just think, if we started a circuit, and say we paid back 80%, we might be able to create a small cash stream for the site to help improve the software and services offered.
What do you guys think? Are there too many trails now to have a fishin.com trail?
Danny
