Wood Creek Lake

Anyone have any info on fishing Wood Creek Lake in early April? Any fish advice will be helpful, I'm not going for only bass. I thought that I would also do some crappie and catfishing. Also, does Wood Creek have walleye? Thanks

If you have time and they are open, when you turn off of W 80 to go to the lake, stop at Ott's grocery and talk to Rick Ott, the owner. He grew up on the lake and pretty much knows every inch of the water. He can also tell you what they're hitting and recent patterns.

Give your report when you go I have caught a few walleye on cranks fishing for largemouth all in the upper end. tight lines.

fish the creek arms that are to the right out of the boat ramp and the one straight ahead for crappie. yes, about the walleye, stocked 2002. fish the deeper end toward the dam for cats
