When??
Thanks for the info. I have heard alot about this store and think it would be a nice addition to the Lexington Area.
I sent them an EMail asking for more info. Let ya know if I hear anything.
Before acquiring a grading or building a permit, the architect/contractor must get a "sign-off" from my office.
An architect on behalf of Sportsman's Warehouse submitted plans
for our approval.
See post above.
Thats great keep us posted if ya dont mind. Thanks
The contractor came in to get various approvals today. The building will have about 62,000 square feet. There will be approximately 49,000 sq. feet on the first floor and 13,000 on the second. Construction should begin this spring and the building should be completed by next year. Apparently, Sportsman's Warehouse is somehow affiliated with Bass Pro. I am
being told that consumers may use Bass Pro gift cards at
Sportman's Warehouse.
LAST EDITED ON Feb-07-06 AT 10:58AM (EST)[p] this will really put a clamp on some of the smaller bait shops around town. But I see it really competing with Dick's Sporting goods first.
We'll see what they're going to carry.
How about the location?

They will be located in the southeast corner of the Winchester Rd/Sir Barton Way intersection, (Hamburg). If you went there now, you would see a huge tract of land being graded. Lowe's, Walmart, Citgo Gas station, Sportsman's Warehouse, and an I-Hop are currently slated to go into the developement. There are another 10 or so outlots available for free standing restaurants or commercial structures, along with other strip mall spaces to be attached to the Sportsman's Warehouse structure.
