I bought some of these hooks but didn't care for them. The weight tends to stretch out and rip the bait (fluke). The fluke didn't seem to last as long. IMO, I would rather use a 5/0 wide gap and insert a piece of finishing nail in the top end of the fluke to add weight... Cut different nail lengths and keep them w/ your tackle. Also, don't shy away from the 5/0 hook. You'll hook up with more fish and bring more to thumb using a fluke. I use the 5/0 when I creek fish for smallies as well.
