Randal Gibson is a heck of a guide has been fishing for them ole brown fish for many years, you will do fine with him.
Might want to give John a yell. He has his own lodging you can stay at as well....

I've gone out with Greg from Ky Trophy fishing before and I am taking my father out with him on March 11th. He does a great job. I have seen alot of good things on here about John Davis myself. I am thinking of going out on a night trip with him this summer when I am on vacation at Dale. We have caught a few this winter fishng with shad. The biggest was 5lb 2oz and several over 4. Good Luck.
Unless John changed, I don't think he guides at night in the summer. I know he guides from October thru March but gives it up and lets the pleasure boaters have it the rest of the time. He is an excellent guide in the winter and will do whatever it takes to catch fish. He can FNF and Silver Buddy with the best of them but also will jig and shiner fish if needed. John will keep you on the lake from daylight to dark as his website states so there is no need for a watch on his trips. His website is smallmouthspecialty.com. From what I know, Stephen Headrick is the man when it comes to night fishing guide trips on Dale.

I e-mailed him about a month ago and he gave me a price on a night trip this summer. Have you ever used his cabins he has on his website? They look pretty nice from the pictures. Are they very close to the lake? The fishing should be pretty good in March. They will be full of eggs for sure. Of course it all depends on the weather as usual.
How is the fishing on Dale during early March typically??
