Hey.....

I went fishing this past weekend with BassMan, and we managed to catch some MONSTERS.......Here are some pics......

Look at this Rainbow Trout.....Nearly 5lbs.

All told, we caught 35 smallies and the trout over 3 days. Great fishing. Notice the snow in the second pic.....It snowed all 3 days....Water temp was around 45 with air temps around 20 - 30.

Geo....you forgot to mention us being stopped by homeland security....dude...we've got to get a few shots next time with the ski mask pulled down.....Gimee your money! Guys...the Geo is a wildman who can only be contained.

We'll be jack'n jaws on Dale February 24th-26th. I'd like to get a 6+ this time...anybody got sweet spot to share.

fish are anywhere from 10 to 25+ depending on the time of day, location, weather....etc.

As fas as the trout is concerned, did you all catch him using the same exact lure and technique as you caught the smallmouths on??

Lure was the same....minnow looking hair jig. I caught a 3.7 in about 8' of water, then 20 minutes later on the exact spot at 20' a 4.2 then a 4.6 rainbow a few minutes later.....the bad part was that Geo threw to the same spot for a minute or so...getting his jiggle on.... then I threw in next to him within 5' and got hit almost instantly. Total reaction bite....I must of dropped it on its head. It fought great!
