Reasons why we aren't fishing today?

I thought it would be cool to see what reasons you fishing nuts have for not being on the water today. I should be at Dale.....but I'm stuck in Louisville.

Work....we are slammed!

The wife is way too freak'n needy 8^)....just kidd'n honey!!

I get to fish way more than anyone I know so I'm good.

just got back from marco island, fla. and the redfish wore me out. my arms are tired and my wallet is empty.

Because I've been in Council Bluffs, Iowa since Nov. Building a new power plant and will be here until late summer!!! So fish some for me. Its going to be along summer!!! Good luck to all, 300ZX.

Same reason I don't fish T's. WORK! It stinks. I work 3 weekends then off 1 and repeat that pattern all year long. I guess it pays the bills but I'd rather be fishing. My swing-shift does however give me the opportunity to get out during the week when there are fewer boats on the water and less fishing pressure and aggravation with those pleasure boaters and jet-skiers.

Yep I'm with you. Even if I did want to fish in this freezing cold, my wife would be way too worried. Of course instead of saying she won't let me, I'd spin it that I don't want to worry her that much... LMAO

Now as to the warmer weather.. say upper 40's and beyond, I need a fishing partner. I don't like to fish in cold water alone. In the summer, if I fall in, hypothermia won't kill me. In the winter though, without help, I don't think a man can make it out of the water when the water is in the 40's.

Sounds like some good stuff....at least no one is saying it's too cold. Work is way overated....but it does fund future trips.....sometimes paid ones with clients 8^)

Anyone have a girlfriend that won't let you go? Talk about live bait 8^)

Don't have a fishing boat or partner to fish with?

What about kids to watch or fishing somewhere warmer? Like the big O in FL.
