I give up. It's too freakin cold and miserable here. We are gonna go to G-ville this evening after work. We'll fish tomorrow and half day Monday and will be back on the board Tuesday to post about all the fish we don't catch. At least we can chow down on some good food and get out of the ice.

How did you do?
We're going down there this weekend for our first time and any info would be appreciated.
We had a good time.
Saturday dawned cold and cloudy with temps in the low 20's. We waited until about 9:30 to get on the water. We fished a grass bed where we caught some last year. The water temp was 44-45 and clear. Jamie caught the first of five bass on a jig in about 4 feet of water on the edge of a grass line. Then I caught a couple on an X Rap jerkbait. jamie caught one on a Rogue and I caught one later on a Rattle Trap. The excitemnet of that stop was the 10 pound drum jamie caught under a bridge on a jig!
We put the boat on the trailer and ran to another area on the lower end of the lake. saw a bunch of gulls circling and diving and put the boat in and ran to them after stopping of at a community hole. When we got to the birds there were millions of shad holding in the creek channel. i caught several smal white bass on a jigging spoon and one little drum. Then it was getting dark and very cold so we went to the catfish resaurant and ate til it hurt!
Yesterday (monday) was in the low thirties and we drove to the Waterfront ramp. Talked to the store kepp and saw pictures of a 10 1 caught there wednesday. We bought some junk and then put in and ran to another favorite place of mine. After a little while, I caught a 4.85 on an X Rap. then Jamie caught a 3.5 on the same bait. Then I caught another small one on it. Finally I caught about a 3.5 on a jig and then we fished for a long time without a bite. Had to quit at 3:00. Loaded the boat, hit the road a t3:30 and was at my driveway at 9:40 last night. Not a bad ride really for the quality of fishing they have at the big G.
Bill
Bill, If I had caught a 4.85....I'm sorry man, but I'd have to call it a 5lb'er...after all we ARE fishermen!
