I have seen smallmouth in Wilgreen. I fish it alot in the spring and summer (early mornings) I have only seen one and it was not real big.

I like Wilgreen best in Spring and summer. Not very successful in late fall and winter. It is a great little lake.

i witnessed the 9 1/4 pounder two Septembers ago. It was a beast and was released back. Pics of it on the wilgreen website.
