First, NEVER close the bail by turning the handle. Do it manually by flipping it shut with your hand. I use a line dressing that seems to help, too. When fishing with spinning tackle, a certain amount of line twist is almost inevitable unless you're using a swivel. If mine becomes too snarly like that, I just take off the lure and let the line play out behind the boat for a short distance. That will take out the twist. You don't need to do the whole spool, just what you need for your casting distance. One last tip is to never, ever, reel against the drag. That will put twist in there faster than anything.
