It was a cold and miserable day for the most part. It was cold all day in about the high teens and low 20's. Started fishing for crappie at 7:30 And didnt get a bite for about 5 hours. I think it was to cold. It warmed up a few degrees and the snow started melting when we finally caught a fish. We were fishing with minnows. About a 8 inch crappie. We went awhile with nothing untill 3:00 I got into some good fish. One right after the other. It just took forever to find them I guess. We caught 10 total 9 keepers in about 45 minutes-1 hour. It was worth it I guess but i wish i could have slept in about another 5 hours. Good Luck if you go out.
