I was down on friday of last week, believe it or not water temp at wax was 57 degrees, I guess all of the warm rain thursday night warmed the water, as you went toward the dam the water got cooler 53 at ponderosa and 54 in dog creek, water was heavily stained at wax and you could tell lot of water running in, could see current going around the bouy's. From first island to rock creek lake was in good shape, then got muddy again, alot of mud comeing out of rock creek. The best water was around ponderosa, however didnt catch any fish in the best colored water, caught 8 small bass all in the warmer murkier water, 4 on black/blue jig, 4 on chartruse crankbait. Dont know what the cold temps this week has done but I was sure shocked the warm rain brought the temp up that much, hope this helps. jeff, legal limit lures
