This seems to be getting out of hand.

We now have people calling us and others names? I suggest tournament organizations get along, yet individuals start calling names and trying to start a fight.

We can't agree on a lake, how will we ever pick a date?

Since I did not manage to make the last two get togethers, I should not be part of what I am about to suggest.

I think SilverRanger, DevilsHorse, and JimD form a three man comittee, pick the date and the lake plus ramp.

Then the rest of us have a decision, we either support our willingness to get together and meet, or we don't.

If I can, I will still help.

If this turns into a fight, I am OUT of it immeadiately. I don't think any of us need that type of stress.

I have been a "member" of this board for a few years now. However, due to conflicts I haven't been able to make it to the get-together. This year I am hoping to make it there with the wife. I have only fished Barren a once in the past few years so I am excited about the "get-together." Hope you guys pick a good date and we have good weather.

i will be there where ever it is at and will help out with food. all i need to know is where and when. and if people dont like where its at and are mad then you dont need to come. just my thoughts on it all. its supost to be fun and fun it shall be.

Instead of a Get Together, I propose we do what Big Time Bass Fishing is doing. Lets take all the fishermen from this board and rank them in order of best to worst. Then schedule 8 different "Get Togethers" on the same day at Ky, Rough, Barren, Nolin, Cumberland, Tayolorsville, Green River and Herrington Lakes. Then we seperate the fishermen equally putting just as many good, bad and indiferent fishermen on each lake. 8 magical weigh ins and we will have 8 champions. Each will have bragging rights, trophies and a little coin in their pocket. Then we can all debate who was actually the champion. If Everstart, BFL, FLW, BASS, Elite, Top 50 and on and on can do it then we can to.

I will rank myself somewhere in the middle to bottom of the pack. My rank will go up if I fish KY or Cumberland but way down on all the rest. Somebody just let me know where to be and when to be there.

Looks like all that needs to be done at this point is for Devils Horse to tally up the votes and let us know which lkae won, then pick a date / ramp for this "Get Together".

So whats it going to be Devils Horse ? Enquiring minds want to know.

Give us a date / ramp and like it was said ... they'll either be there or not.

I think I counted 68 votes with 1993 views as of this posting. Wouldn't that be awesome if 68 people that showed interest in this voting showed up ?

But we know in reality that about a dozen at best will show. we will still have a good time.

We've had a great time the last two years! Don't see this year
being any exception! I'll bring my grill again this year.
Don't know if wife will let me supply all the hamburgers
and hotdogs again this year but we'll see. Has anyone heard
from Jim? Is he bringing any wild boar this year? Pro-V are
you bringing any of those mouth watering fish fillets? And we
can't forget about that potato salad from Onemorecast and wife!

Danny I agree 100% I thought this was to be an event to meet each other and have a good time. Which the few of us did in 04. It was agreed on that we would meet at the camp ground at the Dam as H.Q.
I was there Friday afternoon to help set up etc. for the big event! First time the boat had ever left Cumberland, heard they had Hybrids in that Lake and thought maybe I would give it a shot.
No one knows what the He** I'm talking about at the camp ground etc. I've got a cooler full of fish filets etc. and no one is around?
Jim D and nephew show up and we are it!
It went well for the first time but some of you go crazy when the word Tournament is involved!!
Even for a toilet seat! Congrats Francis:)

Change it to early fall and there'll be a bigger turnout.....

Most of the folks here fish a lot of T's in Apr-Jun.....

We ususally pick a place and date, post it, and whoever shows up shows up. Whoever doesn't show then they don't. Most folks are cool with it on either end.

No need for all this, really.

Since I'm not a T fisherman, I'm flexible either way...
