    Lodging around Alligator II

    Does anyone know a good place to stay around Alligator II on Cumberland, preferably within a half hour? Thanks

    Tim Tartar that does the Striper fishing report on LC has some nice cabins he rents on top of the hill from Alligator II 5 minutes away.Can't think of the name of the place ,but I'm sure it's on Nancy Guide Services website,link around here someplace.

    The name of the motel is Lake Pointe Resort on highway 1583 (top of hill before you get to the dock). The phone number is (877) 287-2036 currently owned by Barry and Tina Begley. They have a website:

    Good, clean motel rooms or cabins. He sells bait (shiners)

    The Alligator Inn is right there also. It is very nice and clean! There is also a fine resturant out there called The Back Grill....real good home cooking!

    Try the Shiloh Inn in Russell Springs. It is an older motel but the owner seems to take good care of things. Alot of fishermen stay there.
